We are not made to sit all day. On the contrary, our bodies were designed to move.
Fluidstance was born out of the desire to set the world in motion. They approached us to design the first product in the lineup, the Level.
The level is a balance board that provides a subtle instability - enough to relief pressure of your joints and engage your quick twitch muscle fibers without distracting you from your work. It is meant to replace the office chair, so we approached the structural and material design like a piece of furniture.

We designed the Level with the afterlife in mind - it is as easy to take apart as it is to assemble, and all parts can be recycled.
Local powder-coating operation allows for quick turnaround, and limited color runs.
PACKAGING
Sustainability was key for all touchpoints - structural packaging included. We designed the shipping container to be made with recycled cardboard and water-based single color ink.
