Out-of-Box Experience

Chef and proprietor Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has created a global brand with his chain of restaurants to many accolades over the years.

We were approached to design a vision for a bottle and delivery system for Nobu’s Premium House Sake that would capture the essence of these exclusive and delicate sakes.

Based on a Bamboo stem, we used the node as a natural split between the bottle and cup. The packaging is a recycled cardboard tube outer with an inner lining made from molded rice husks.
